Southern England coverage

Independent Legionella risk assessment across Southern England

Foster Risk Solutions is based in Hampshire, providing independent Legionella risk assessment and water safety support across Southern England.

Independent advice without a remedial sales agenda

FRS does not use assessment findings to generate remedial sales. Recommendations reflect the conditions identified and the significance of the risk, leaving the client free to choose how any necessary work is delivered.

Even well-managed systems can have gaps. Independent review can help identify where existing controls could be strengthened.

Relevant FRS services

The support required depends on the water system and the question being addressed. An enquiry may concern one service or several related pieces of work.

Legionella risk assessments

Independent assessment of physical conditions, system operation and management, with clear, prioritised and proportionate recommendations.

Water system schematics

Drawings developed from physical site surveys and available information to help those responsible understand the water distribution system.

Written schemes of control

Site-specific documentation that turns assessment findings into practical arrangements for managing and controlling risk.

Legionella water sampling

Targeted microbiological sampling where appropriate to investigate conditions or support verification of controls.

Water safety consultancy

Technical support for dutyholders, Responsible Persons and facilities teams reviewing existing controls or addressing a specific concern.

Assess the complete water system

The assessment considers how water is stored, generated, distributed and used, together with monitoring, control measures and management arrangements. On multi-building sites, it is important to establish which systems serve each building and whether they are connected or separate.

Closer investigation is used where the wider view does not explain a finding. FRS then puts findings into context before recommending action. The report explains the evidence and rationale, with clear priorities to support decisions about what needs attention.

Start with your enquiry

Tell us the location of the premises, how the buildings are used and what support you need. For an initial enquiry, it is useful to explain whether you need a new risk assessment, a review of existing arrangements or help with a specific water safety question.

If known, include the number of buildings and a brief description of the water systems. Mention any existing risk assessment, schematic or written scheme, and any restrictions on access. You do not need to have every detail available before getting in touch.

Knowing who manages water safety and which records are available helps clarify the scope of the work. These management arrangements are considered alongside the physical system.

Regional coverage from a Hampshire base

From its Hampshire base, FRS works across Dorset, including Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch; Wiltshire, including Salisbury; and Surrey, including Guildford and Woking. Coverage extends through West Sussex, including Crawley, Chichester and Worthing, and to Brighton. FRS also undertakes work in London, travelling from its Hampshire base.

Available nationwide

FRS also works nationwide, supporting organisations with premises elsewhere in the UK or across more than one region. Include the site locations and any shared management arrangements when you enquire.
